C.F.M. — Cartiere Filtrazioni Materie, Lombardy, Italy — has supplied transfer foils to the European leather trade for over half a century. Since 1994, every roll of C.F.M. foil that arrives in India arrives here, at B-37, Sector 57, Noida.
What leaves our floor is the same craft tradition the mill protects in Italy, pressed by hands that have inherited the discipline across three generations. The foil is Italian. The finish is ours.
Every metre we ship begins at the craftsman station. A roll of C.F.M. foil meets a hide of full-grain calf, lamb, or goat. Pressure, temperature, and dwell are measured against the previous run — so that batch four reads identical to batch one, a year and an ocean apart.
We do not subcontract the press. We do not ship the foil onward. Every transfer happens under our roof, and every hide leaves the building hand-finished and packed for export.
The house was founded by a craftsman with a single press, in a single room. It is run today by his grandson — Gaurav Kapoor — out of a Sector 57 atelier that has grown to twelve thousand square feet without ever changing its principles.
Trade clients across forty-three countries deal with the family directly. There is no salesforce between you and the press.
